We are looking for an experienced, passionate General Manager who will serve as the front of house leader — the individual who sets the tone of exceptional hospitality for the entire restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will spend significant time on the floor engaging with guests, supporting your team, and ensuring every visit exceeds expectations. You’ll lead with presence, energy, and genuine care — balancing floor leadership with the operational excellence required to run a high-performing, high-volume restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead Hospitality & Guest Experience: Be the primary ambassador for Juliet’s warm, welcoming culture. Spend the majority of your time on the floor greeting guests, building relationships, supporting service, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.
· Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, develop, and inspire a talented front-of-house and work together with the back-of-house team. Create a positive, high-performing culture where people are motivated to grow.
· Operational Excellence: Work in partnership with the Executive Chef to oversee daily restaurant operations, manage shifts, maintain exceptional food and beverage quality standards, and ensure smooth service execution.
· Business Management: Manage costs, supplies, and financial performance. Drive sales through thoughtful marketing execution and operational innovation.
· Administrative Leadership Handle restaurant tech systems, scheduling, performance evaluations, employee relations, and compliance.
· Continuous Improvement: Implement strategies to elevate guest satisfaction, team engagement, productivity, and profitability.
What We’re Looking For
· Proven Experience: 5+ years in a Restaurant leadership role in a high-volume, upscale-casual environment.
· Hospitality Obsessed: A natural leader who thrives on the floor and genuinely loves connecting with guests and team members.
· Strong Business Acumen: Solid financial management skills with experience controlling costs and driving results.
· Food & Beverage Knowledge: Extensive food and wine knowledge. Italian cuisine experience is a plus.
· Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with restaurant management software, scheduling systems, and tech stack management. Experience with R365, Toast, and OpenTable a plus.
· Additional Strengths: Experience in event planning, marketing execution, staff development, and creating positive work environments
· Personal Qualities: Excellent communicator, critical thinker, problem-solver, team player, and someone who leads by example with high integrity.
· Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation & Benefits
· Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
